Buc Days in Chorus Christi, Texas

Buc Days is a 12-day pirate themed event taking place in late April / Early may in Corpus Christi. You can check out their website at https://www.bucdays.com or check out the comments at the bottom of this page to see if this year’s exact date has been published.

In 2011, Corpus Christi’s Buc Days will go on from April 28, 2011 until May 8, 2010.

Carnival

2011 admission prices are $4 for adults age 17 -64, $3 for senior citizens and for children over 36” tall. Kids under 36” tall get in free!

May 3 and May 4, 2011 are Wristband discount nights. $10 gets you a wristband for an evening of unlimited rides!

Buc Days looks like so much fun! I wish I lived closer to Corpus Christi. Please check the Events tab on their website for prices and times.

The fun starts at 6PM on opening night when you get to watch the mayor walk the plank and get soaked!

There is also a Pro Rodeo, a BBQ / cook-off , Folklórico (dancing) competition, a high school welding competition,  and two parades! (one illuminated night parade, and a junior parade at 11AM)
