Way to go Triple-T!

Once again, Tripple “T” Amusements provided the midway at our local fair. They brought fewer rides this year. I am not sure why. But I was glad to see that they brought back some of our favorites!

The Tempest

The tempest has been one of our favorites since my daughter was 6 years old. Exciting enough to be fun for me, and calm enough for her to feel safe.

Last year I noticed some of the seats were worn, but they were in much better condition this year.

The Dragon Wagon

My daughter’s favorite, by far, is the Dragon Wagon. It is like a miniature roller coaster for little kids. This ride also appears to have received a bit of TLC to get rid of the previous year’s squeaks and rattles. Everything ran smoothly and I appreciated that the ride operator seemed to closely follow the safety rules. (I saw him turn down several kids who were really too small to ride.)

The Octopus

This is the same Octopus that I got trapped at the top of with a guy I liked in 2007. That was a fun adventure, but not one that I would want myself or my friends to repeat. – I am happy to say that this ride is also running smoothly and appears to be well taken care of.

Thank you Triple T!

It was hard to find anything to complain about this year. A chip in the paint here, a decorative panel missing there. I don’t think I would have even noticed if I hadn’t been specifically looking.

Anyhow, thanks Triple “T” Amusements for making my carnival going experience a good one this August! I am glad that my town brought you back, and I look forward to seeing you again in future years 🙂

2015 Update

I have had an opportunity to sit and talk with the folks who run Triple T as they passed through my little town these last few years. It is exciting to see how they are expanding with exciting new rides. I even got brave enough to try Fried Oreos. Wow, whoever thought of that confection was a genius!

Triple T Amusements is officially one of my favorite carnivals now! I can hardly wait for them to come back next year 🙂
