DeLeon Peach and Melon Festival and Tractor Pull in DeLeon, Texas

A week of fun in DeLeon! The DeLeon Peach and Melon Festival and Tractor Pull is generally held in early August. You can visit their website at www.deleonpeachandmelonfestivalandtractorpull.com for more information.

This event has something fun for everyone, including:

  • Little, Petite, and Junior Miss, Queen and Miss DeLeon
  • Carnival
  • Parade
  • Tractor Pull
  • Dancing
  • and Seed Spitting

This town will always have a special place in my memories. It was the first city I traveled to after “running off with the carnival” in 2001. The kind people from one of the local churches provided with a delicious lunch every day which really made me feel welcome and kept me from feeling too homesick. It also set the mood for me feeling like my new co-workers were an extended family.

The DeLeon Peach and Melon Festival is great fun for people of all ages. I’ve always loved it (especially the parades), so much so, that I’ve even designed a few t-shirts about the DeLeon Festival. You can check them out at zazzle.com/kaliopekateskorner. Look under t-shirts/local flavor.

Who designed your page? Looks great! Is it a free template you are using?

I designed this website myself. When I decided to switch to WordPress, I chose the “Atahualpa 3.2” theme and modified it to match my original look. … Thanks for the comment 🙂
