The San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show is one of the largest annual rodeo and stock show events in the nation. It is held every February on the AT&T Center and Freeman Coliseum Grounds. The 2010 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo [...] The East Texas State Fair is held in late September / early October in Tyler, Texas. Come see the rides, pageants, rodeo, and strawberies at the Poteet Strawberry Festival – one of the oldest and most popular events in the state of Texas! This event is held in early April. Check www.strawberryfestival.com for more up to date information. The state fair of Texas is generally held in late September – early October at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. In 2009, it will be held from September 25, 2009 until October 18, 2009. You can view their website at BIGTEX.com for more information. A week of fun in DeLeon! The DeLeon Peach and Melon Festival and Tractor Pull is generally held in early August. You can visit their website at www.deleonpeachandmelonfestivalandtractorpull.com for more information. The East Texas Yamboree is held in mid-October in Gilmer, Texas.
