What I love about these guys is that they have proven to be one of the easier to contact shows. Thanks Pride of Texas! I look forward to the day that I am able to come to one of your events and do an in-depth review.

I don’t know if this is going to be read by anyone considering that all these post are from 2009, but I thought I would still give it a shot. I was a carnie myself back in the day, worked for Norman Patterson and The Pride of Texas Shows out of bee ills, TX from 1990-1995, I too concur with most of you that say that being a carnie was the best times of their lives. I had a blast during those 5 yrs, made many friends and met many girls every town we went too, it was awesome! And now, 18yrs later I’m happily married and I have a professional career, I’m an LVN, and in a weird way, I kind of miss the road! Lol

Yes, this comment is still going to get read 🙂 I know the feeling – It has been a little over 11 years since I left. I miss it sooo much! I often thing that once my daughter grows up, I might try to take a few weeks to travel with a show for old times sake.

I am with Coryell Creek Critters a 501c Non profit organiation. We host a BBQ Cook-off and Festival every third weekend in July in Gatesville Texas, to raise money for The American Cancer Society. We were thinking about adding a mini carnival (no food) to our event. Is this something you would be interested in? If so please contact me with info and terms.
    Thanks,

    Doug,

I got your name from Bo Davis from Gonzalez. He is my Rodeo Producer for our VFW Rodeo which we have been doing for the past 67 Years. I am interested in bringing in a Carnival for our 68th Annual 4th of July Rodeo which will be July 3,4,5,&6th. I would like to speak to you to see if there is anything you can do for us.

I would need to meet with you as soon as possible as there are a lot of logistical issues I will have to deal with. We have already formed our Rodeo Committee for this next years Rodeo.

Please let me know what would be convienant for you to meet with us. I would come there to meet if need be to facilitate this project.

You can reach me by reply to this email or [email protected]. My phone number is 512-576-4365

I look forward to working with you.

    Kindest Regards

We put on a big festival in Mansfield TX in October every year, and I am thinking of adding a carnival to it for 2013. Are you still in business and, if you are, would you be interested in talking to me about this?
